MegaRam Solid-State Disks [Imperial Technology Inc.]

MegaRam-3 solid-state disk is a high performance peripheral storagedevice. It emulates a standard magnetic SCSI interfaced hard disk andrequires no special drivers. The access time is 300 times faster than anormal disk and the bandwidth is 20 MB/sec.The MegaRam-3 is available in both desktop and 19" rack-mountpackaging. Capacities are available from 67 MB to 3.6 GB and built-inbatteries for data retention are standard.Options available include redundant power supplies, internal hard diskbackup, external disk shadowing and multiporting. Up to 4 SCSI interfacescan be incorporated in a unit allowing different host computers, each onits own SCSI bus to share the device.MegaRam-500 is a high performance solid-state disk that is housed in astandard 5-1/4 inch footprint package and uses the DC voltages andconnectors identical to those required by SCSI Winchester disk drives. Itis available in a range of capacities from 33 MB to 1 GB and can bemultiported. Battery backup and disk backup options are also available.MegaRam-35 is a high performance solid-state disk in a 3-1/2 inch formfactor. It has capacities form 134 MB to 536 MB. Battery backup andbuilt-in disk backup options are available.
